Lillian talks about how calling 911 results in better access to services.
Transcript
This lady who I met, she had woken up one night and couldn’t breathe. So the same thing that I had, but I sat up and took a breath and then, I don’t know, just kept on going. But she called 911 and she got admitted for her heart failure. So then she was in hospital for a few days, and then she had homecare. And she had the exercise people coming out to her house. So there were people there to see how she was doing. So had I called 911 instead, then it would have maybe been a different experience, right? So maybe then I would have had a homecare and someone checking on how I’m doing.
